We operate a variety of projects at SIFE Simon Fraser. Our projects fall under three programs: Micro-Business, Community and Entrepreneurship.

Since its first event in 1997, SIFE Simon Fraser’s Dream Auction has always caught the attention of the community.

Financial Understanding and Development (FUND) looks to educate students on basic financial concepts, definitions, and process that will effect their own personal finances.

Grade 7 students are learning about environmental sustainability in school, but they are rarely given the opportunity to apply what they have learned and have a positive impact on the environment.

Emphasis of this workshop is placed on helping leadership students find entrepreneurial passion. The workshop teaches students about marketing and how to make an effective business pitch.

Media Advertising and Design by Renegade (MADrenegade) is a student-operated new media company within SIFE Simon Fraser.

A casual meet-up for aspiring student entrepreneurs from across faculties and departments to discuss ideas and make connections, matching students with ideas & innovation to students with business acumen.

The SFU Student Entrepreneur of the Year award was designed to find the best student entrepreneurs in SFU. The competition runs every year with its first being held on November 20th, 2008.

SIFE Marketing Group is a specialized Marketing team that focuses on helping businesses in the greater Vancouver area with their marketing strategies.

m2 is a financial education project designed to help at-risk youths.

Work with experienced students and industry professionals to help businesses with their HR functions, the team analyses the client and submits a proposal of strategies that the client could use to improve their recruiting and retaining functions.

SIFE is currently working closely with Strathcona Business Improvement Association (SBIA) to help them with their strategic plans and goals. The Strathcona BIA is looking to brand and market the area as a safe, green, and sustainable place to live.

After observing the lack of ethics education in Metro Vancouver secondary schools, SIFE Simon Fraser designed an ethics program called Learning Important Fundamentals in Ethics (LIFE).
