SIFE Simon Fraser and Venture Connection are once again getting ready for the annual Student Entrepreneur of the Year (SEY) awards! This annual competition aims to uncover the student entrepreneurs of SFU and help those entrepreneurs build their business. This year, we are planning to hold a larger and more elaborate event which will include a workshop series, as well as the competition itself!
We are currently looking for motivated individuals who are interested in getting involved in the Organizing Committee. Positions available include Event Chair, Marketing, Event and Logistics and Externals.
This is one of the biggest events of the year. You will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals and seasoned entrepreneurs, developing incredible contacts for the future!

Financial Understanding & Development (FUND) is a series of personal finance workshops targeting post-secondary school students to become more aware of major issues like the above. We utilize our network of professionals from the financial industry to educate students and advise them to develop an actionable plan for themselves.
This project will be having its first workshop on July 23rd, 2009 from 3:30pm-4:30pm at SFU Burnaby MBC 2290.
