SIFE welcomes Shanda Jerrett, founder of Gumdrops, a "wet weather boutique" located in Kitsilano, to speak at our General Meeting next Monday, November 2nd. Just recently Shanda won 2009 CYBF (Canadian Youth Business Foundation) British Columbia Best Business Award for Entrepreneur of the Year.

The Canadian Youth Business Foundation describes Gumdrops as "an e-commerce and retail wet weather boutique located in the urban chic shopping neighborhood of Kitsilano. It is a one stop shop for wet weather products for men, women, children and man's best friend, from top to toe. Their commitment to providing outstanding customer service and imaginative products enables them to make a splash in the international arena."
