GEW is a world-wide movement that celebrates and promotes entrepreneurship in more than 100 countries. In the seven days, beginning Nov 16, the Canadian Youth Business Foundation aims to achieve four goals: to INSPIRE, CONNECT, MENTOR and ENGAGE the young entrepreneurs of today so that they can lead us into our great tomorrow. We hope to generate new ideas and look for the better way of doing things, to embrace innovation, imagination and creativity, to think BIG and turn their ideas into REALITY. TO MAKE THEIR MARK.

Global Entrepreneur Week Kick-Off

Innovasion

When: 10:00am – 6:00pm on November 18th
Where: Exhibit Hall C of the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre (East)
This three part event is the ideal place for the student entrepreneur to get his feet on the ground. Come to the exhibitions showcasing products, presentations from six of Vancouver’s best known entrepreneurial success stories, and workshops to give you hands on experience with industry professionals.

Venture Meetup

Come join us as our guest speaker, Joe Timlin, Vice President, Investments Information Technology, GrowthWorks MBA (UBC), shares his experience and discusses start-up models for any business venture.

College Pro Speaker Series

Meet with the CEO and President of College Pro, two successful entrepreneurs who started their business while completing their undergraduate degrees. Learn about their personal experiences and how you can be an entrepreneurial leader too.
