SIFE Simon Fraser was honoured to be chosen as a finalist in the Surrey Board of Trade's 2009 Business Excellence Awards on November 5th. Competing in the Not-for-Profit category, the team was recognized for its contribution to the City of Surrey.

Attending the Awards dinner were Anoop Aulakh, Sabaina Saif, Josephine Gunawan, Michelle Ngai, and Katherine Quan, accompanied by faculty advisor Sam Thiara.
